Are You Adopted?

Why should or would I be adopted? We must look into the Word of God to see this answer. It is not found in a law book. The answer is found in the living word of God (Bible). God sent his Son Jesus as our advocate to redeem us from the curse of man. He speaks all through the bible about this and has shown what it means to be adopted by the King of Kings. We are ADOPTED if we have received the Lord Jesus Christ into our lives.

Pauls writes in Romans 8:15 (ESV), For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

Galations 4:1-7 (ESV),

Gal 4:1 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything,

Gal 4:2 but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father.

Gal 4:3 In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world.

Gal 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

Gal 4:5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

Gal 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

Gal 4:7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

Romans 8:14-17 (ESV).

Rom 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

Rom 8:16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

Rom 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

There are a lot of proofs in the Word of God both the old and new testament. These are just a few I can list to keep this short so you will read it. The face of the matter is a big question to you. Have you been adopted by the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins? Have you asked him into your heart so you can receive everlasting life. You see when we allow Jesus to come into our lives. The Holy Spirit will guide us in all truth and Righteneous. We become adopted by Him through the Presious blood of Gods Son Jesus Christ for the remission of all sins.

Psalm 103: 1-12

11. For as high as the heavens are above the earth,

so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;

12. as far as the east is from the west,

so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

After reading this blog you will realize you can turn from all your sin and come to the Lord Jesus Christ just come as you are and lay down all your burdens and sins.
