Dont Look Back

Nehemiah 9

Judges 16:1-31

There seems to always be a test before a move of God. The Lord wants to see how we will act under pressure before he releases us to do whatever it is he has for us to do. The Lord wants to make sure I am ready and will follow through with what he want's me to do.

Examples:

· Abraham was willing to give up his son as a sacrifice and he followed through with what the Lord said even though it meant he would have to kill his son as a sacrifice.

· Samson was deceived by the spirit of Lust and had to pay a heavy price for his mistake.

· Jacob and Esau: Sold his birthright for food. He was distracted because of hunger.

· Job was forsaken and cast down. Once his test was over then he was restored and blessed above and beyond all that he had before.

· Lots wife was distracted and looked back to the city of Sodom because she loved the place more than the Lord and turned to a pillar of salt. She refused to obey and let her feelings for a place distract her.

The test that comes in your life from your past to try and put you back into the old sin you used to follow. Do not let it. Keep looking forward to Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith. (Philippians 3:13)

The People in this latest election who were bible believing Christians cried out to God and repented asking for the Lord to change our country. The Lord let Trump win. It was not men who allowed it but the Lord allows whom he will to be king over kingdoms. If there was ever a time to keep pressing into the kingdom of God it is now. The church does not need to sleep. We have taken the ground back the enemy has tried to keep and now we have to keep prepared for a fierce spiritual battle every day as these are the end days and the Darkness and the Light are preparing for the final battle.

The Lord is calling us to a deeper walk. Just like Peter we must get out of the boat and walk in faith for our calling in which the Lord has placed upon us, staying focused on Jesus the author and finisher of our Faith.

Brothers and sisters keep walking to the Lord and not looking at the things coming on the world are around us in the natural such as the destruction and sickness.
