The Tunnel of Light

I was going through the mountains and as we drove through there was this long tunnel that allowed our vehicle to go through it. From a distance, I could see this little hole the car would enter into the tunnel as we approached closer. The closer we approached the tunnel, the larger it became.

God said in Genesis 1:16-18 16. And God made the two great lights-the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night and the stars. 17. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18. to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

You can read the story of creation found in Genesis 1:1-31 and see how much detail God provided to us through His Word. I am truly amazed at how God spoke light into being! Wow! I read also in Genesis 1 how the Lord divided the two types of light. One for the night and one for the day.

Then on top of it all, He showed us how He separated the day from the night.

You can see the light at the other end of the tunnel as you go towards it. It is a way to know you heading to the other end of the mountain. But as you drive through the tunnel. There is darkness all around you and you can (see the light at the end of the tunnel).

What are the tunnels of Light you have traveled through or going through? Just remember the Lord created it all for a specific purpose and He will guide you through your daily trials. Just remember there is always hope and light at the end of the Tunnel.
